Vintage Silver Plated demitasse spoon has been reimagined into a spoon ring.

“Early 1900s silver plated Hotel Astor demitasse spoon”

Some silver patterns are beautiful, and some are truly dreamed of.

Collectors adore it ~ Vintage lovers chase it~

And somehow, I was lucky enough to welcome these into my studio.

Most would see only a spoon.

But engraved on the back is the name Muschenheim—the brothers who operated the Hotel Astor during New York’s golden age of hospitality.

A small mark carrying a much larger story.

This silver plated demitasse spoon once lived in the dining rooms of early Manhattan luxury.
Now it begins a second life as a one-of-a-kind ring.

All rings are washed and polished.
Each spoon ring is presented in a cotton bag stamped with the Jersey Mermaid Co. logo and includes a polishing cloth and product info card with pattern name and year.
All of our silverware have had previous lives before rescuing them. Each is polished and hand -stamped.  There may be small dings or places where the finish is a little worn.  This adds to their vintage charm of being "perfectly-imperfect".
